And in case you haven’t had the pleasure just yet, we asked him some questions about what to drink from Zuiver Wijnen. Read on and prepare for your next wine bottle.
Q: In 1-2 sentences, tell us about Zuiver Wijnen.
A: We're a natural wine importer, with a broad portfolio of wine makers throughout Europe, in all different price ranges.
Q: What about You personally, why are you working with this? What's your story?
A: I'm doing all private customer sales (in our physical shop, through our website, through e-mail and trough IG), and everything that revolves around marketing, maintaining the webshop, as well as part of our retail-customer relations.
Q: What is your favourite bottle in your store right now, and Why should we all buy one?
A: Can't pick a single bottle, but I enjoyed a bottle of Strohmeier - TLZ Rot no. 7 2015/16 last Friday (a fruit-day) greatly. Super complex wine, but super drinkable, so for a nice dinner for two suitable, but also if you're partying with wine nerds and people who can appreciate complex stuff.
Q: From your shop right now, name some bottles that you consider to be the perfect MOOD BOOSTERS (i.e. pick me ups after a long, dark and cold winter; fun, light friendly and affordable wines).
A: Alessandrino by Valli Unite, everything by Nadia Verrua (Cascina Tavijn).
